Film Posters And Trailers - Frozen

Image
Film Po ster Key concepts and themes of the movie are displayed in both the trailer and poster. The scenery of ice is constantly shown in both ways of marketing. The theme of ice is in synergy with the title "frozen". The way the word frozen is written in novelty font seems to look like it is carved by ice yet remaining magical, like Disney, at the same time. The fact that reindeer is running in the poster suggests that the movie is mainly fast pased. This is likely to attract a young audience as too much meaning and over compicating a movie is unappeling to a young audience. There are two girls but also 3 male characters, this mix of genre on the poster suggests a less girly movie, which is somewhat largerly what disney is about. The gender mix helps to appel to a male audience who want to see fast adverntourous stories.(the trialer suggests a fast story). The main character is shown on the left side of the poster. The way she is looking at the camera sugges

Film Institutions: Frozen case study

Disney's Frozen The film that I have chosen is Disney's Frozen. The reason I wanted to do Frozen was because it had an organisation like Disney behind it, a huge release and was really talked about. Institutional background The production companies behind frozen were Walt Disney Animation Studios Walt Disney Pictures. The Distributor of the film, in the UK, was Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. B rand loyalty The film's genre is an animated fantasy-comedy.You can tell the film fits into this genre by the trailer. In the trailer we can see a funny animated character, odd stunts, large open spaces and adventure. Few of the main features in an animated codedy film. In the trailler We see jokes, different yet funny characters, unrelistic character (the snowman) and the life tretining experience. The movie is an orginial but because of the fact that it is a diseny film it is most likely to have a large audience that will watch the film no matter wha

Analysing Genre

Hunger Games Mockingjay  Genre:  Science Fiction Narrative:  The storyline is shown in a way that if you watch the hunger games you are more likely to understand and connect however anyone can understand the main concept even if you don't.We can see the main theme of a sort of war going on between two sides. This narrative is tense, dramatic and futuristic which fits the science fiction genre very well. Character: The characters are the typical ones used in nearly all Science Fiction movies. Main character who is strong, different and heroic. The other main character who is also strong and helps the main character through all sorts of hell and the sad helpless side, who is the rest of district 12 in this case. Iconography: These are the things like; the airship, futuristic technology, the main mission, weapons, odd weather, flashing lights, destruction etc. All of these are typical for a sci-fi movie. Setting: In the short time the trailer is played, we can un
