Camera Shots

Image
We were set the task to go and take photos showing a story line. We needed to take 7 different types of shots and needed 10 pictures overall to show the story line. The story line we chose to show was of a person wating on top of the stairs,at a school, for another person who was going to meet up with them and sell them drugs. These are the 3 different shots we used and why we did them as well as the affect they have on the viewer. Shot One; Birds eye view - This shot was taken like this to express the idea of someone(person 2)  waiting for another person(person 1) and seeing them come into view. This shows that person 2 is already at the destination and is looking down on person 1 who is currently making their way to the destination. The distance between the characters is expressed through this spacing difference and shows how egerly person two is waiting for person one to reach the destination. Shot Two ;  Over the shoulder shot - This shot is used to show th

Learner Response; Summer Project

Mr Matthew's Response WWW: Outstanding detail given to the content of the news programme and the stories within it. EBI: you really pushed yourself to say something about the potential political leanings of each news programme. LR: Find out if the news programmes you saw are likely to present the news in a certain way (research their political bias) - post the results and see if it makes the order of the stories they published any more interesting. Learner Response Most news channels are likely to have certain bias political views, if there aren't a lot there is almost a guarantee for at least a little. I strongly believe this as, due to our human nature, everyone has their own views in certain areas so when the reporters develop a story they may just be bias, be that consciously or unconsciously. BBC Reporters are all said to have bias political views influencing their decisions and reporting techniques. These statements are strongly supported but also con

Shots Analysis

Image
Shot One What we can see in the shot is a Medium close up. The shot shows us the police all in one shot which helps to elaborate on how many officers are there and as it's a close up they help to show us how they are feeling and how important this chase is for them. What we can infer from the pictures close up is that the police are very serious about their case as they maybe losing their target and can foresee the negative effect or conclusion that may occur because of their target getting away. The way they're structured whilst standing may help the audience understand that the case is very important for the police and how much training they may have had to do with this situation. Shot Two This is an establishing shot. In the shot we can see a broken down old car which can cause the audience see what maybe being foreshadowed with a negative background. The broken and eerie layout makes the viewer tense up a little as the are wondering what may be coming within

Autumn

Image
Autumn paint palette  Shown above is my autumn paint palette which is a selection of colours I personally believed to represent autumn. To me the colours of autumn are the dark reds, oranges and greens.  Fruit bowl This is the fruit bowl I made with lots of different autumn pictures(in my view). The way I made this is by using the magic wand tool and using paste special to paste it into place. I enjoyed making it due to the fact I love autumn so much and the picture had a few of the different aspect of autumn that I love. I chose the whole autumn theme due to the fact it is my absolute favourite season. I love the way the leaves begin to fall as they redden, I love how the days begin to get cooler. The way you can now wear those oversize hoodies and jumpers and drink hot chocolate from your favourite mug has the best feeling. Hence why I done the theme using the pictures and colours I felt where my idea of autumn.

Lynxs Advert

Image
LYNXS ADVERT Language; The language used is short and simple making it easier for the audience to understand what the product is mainly about; it also is reflecting the spray, small and strong. The sense of strong is created by the slogan using the word "power" which is interfered with also being strong. The sense of small is created through the spray bottle being shown gripped by a hand making it easier to compare the size much easier for the audience. The hand which is holding the spray also has light coming from behind it which gives it the sense of power which goes in hand with being strong(which the product is) The white writing on the black background gives a sense of simplicity and boldness which reflects to the audience that the product is also simple and bold. Institution; The company behind the product is lynx, a worldwide recognised brand, where the product logo is visible very clearly which helps to highlight the product. The institution only makes spray,
